Laura Ferber, a member of the board of the hair salon group she founded, shares her vision of the place of women in business. For her, gaining legitimacy is a real challenge, that must be overcome through concrete results and effective communication. It's about breaking the chains that are sometimes deeply entrenched in business through perseverance and authenticity, to create undeniable added value, even in the highest positions.

She also quotes Henry Ford, the father of lean management: "If you do what you've always done, you get what you've always had." Innovation and entrepreneurial spirit therefore seem to be the key to women's success in business. Moreover, Laura Ferber has taken the lead in innovation to ensure the digital transformation of her company: she launched her webshop in 2019 and continues to invest in the digital shift today.

For my part, I remember her words : "A woman must have the courage to put herself forward," defining it as my daily maxim. The end of gender barriers, in my opinion, begins with breaking down our own barriers as a woman and daring to stand out, daring to assert our ideas, and above all, daring to claim the same responsibilities as our male colleagues.

What is your perspective on diversity in business?
